The Sun Inn - Surrey Heath

Had a lovely evening. I thought the service was friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional with excellent presentation.I was really impressed and think, over all, it was an improvement on last visit yet that was amazing too. The standard is very high not sure what further improvement can be made. Super menu choice. No criticism, but would love to see escargots back on the menu. :

We’ve just had a lovely evening at The Sun Inn the steak was fantastic and we highly recommend the pistachio soufflé for desert! We were made very welcome and the service was excellent and efficient. There was also live music which sounded great. Overall, a lovely experience!

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. Staff very welcoming, atmosphere lovely and relaxing. Car park is fairly small but the pay and display round the corner had plenty of spaces at a very reasonable price. We had lunch and the food we had was very enjoyable, will definitely be returning.

Can thoroughly recommend the special July lunch menu £18.50 two courses;£23.50 three courses). Delicious cucumber gazpacho, sea bream with ratatouille and strawberry fool including a lovely rose spritzer. Also on the menu, crab fishcake, smoked pork and madeleines with chocolate dipping sauce. Good service and atmosphere . Have enjoyed the May and June lunches at The Sun sister pub Barley Mow at Englefield Green). Excellent value for money and interesting menus.

I live in London but the service and food is better than your London gastro pub. I come here. Échaude if the service and surroundings first, food second. My favorite restaurant, pub, never fails to disappoint, and I’ve been visiting monthly or more in the summer for 10 years.
