Bidra med feedbackDespite the rainy Saturday morning, it was still possible to enjoy outdoor seating at the Park Cafe. Located next to a rugby ground, the PA system was loud and there was a constant stream of young rugby players passing by. However, I found the cafe to be friendly, local, and unpretentious. Many customers brought their dogs along, adding to the charming atmosphere. I ordered Donna's Choice for breakfast, which was a great deal at $12. The coffee was excellent and the staff was friendly. What impressed me the most was that my bill was totaled without the use of a calculator, a rarity these days. For great value, home-cooked food, and friendly service, I highly recommend the Park Cafe on Chalmers Street. Just be aware of the noise from the rugby ground if it bothers you, and choose a quieter morning to visit.
Located just a one-minute walk from Central Railway Hotel, this cafe offers a great selection of drinks and menu options. While most customers opt for take-out, we decided to dine in for breakfast. The cafe is clean, well-maintained, and nicely organized.
During our week-long stay in a nearby hotel, my friend and I made a point to try out this restaurant that we walked past every day. We were delighted that we did, as the food was absolutely fantastic! We ordered scrambled eggs and avocado on toast, and it was clear that the woman who seemed to own the place truly loved cooking and preparing food for her guests. Her passion shone through in every dish. The service was exceptional and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wide selection of delicious options.
Chalmers Café is on the block where I've lived for the last 10 years. It’s always been there when I’ve need my coffee and a snack for breakfast or something tasty for lunch when I’ve been working from home. The coffee is consistently good and they know how to do a great bacon and egg roll! The staff are always friendly and efficient. I love this place. It’s local, not pretentious and does what it does well.
Smiling faces and a friendly welcome will brighten your morning. A good range of food and delicious coffee are loved by many regulars already. The cafe is barely five minutes from the Central Station and it is worth walking there fo a snack. The place is open Monday to Friday from 5 am to 15:30 and it is closed on weekends.
