Bidra med feedbackFeels like new owners and they've missed a trick since starting up. The last two times I've been the food has been way off what it used to deliver. The coffee is still awesome though. I used to give this place 5 stars, but not anymore...
As a Surry Hills local, I popped in to Gnome this morning for a coffee.Given it's Surry Hills, I usually expect some level of fun loving sass but John who served me seemed to be in a particularly bad mood and ended up throwing my change across the counter towards me. Not in a fun loving manner at all. Further to this, I had ordered an iced long black. The coffee was weak and there was no ice. Safe to say I won't be returning.
The best flat white I ever had in Sydney. I know everyone has different taste in terms of coffee, but mine is satisfied with Gnome. I love their cronut as well, very sweet, but it is a good pairing with coffee. The staff is also very kind and friendly. Even though the space is small, it is the food that matters :
I ordered a pumpkin bread and a coconut yoghourt with grain~ They are delicious~ I am not really fond of coffee. But it is pretty good too~ I enjoy the nice service~
A small corner cafè wine bar on Crown Street Surry Hills with indoor and outdoor seating. This rustic little cafe is associated with Brewtown Newtown, so you know they have decent coffee. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. This cafe is a great spot for taking in the action of Surry Hills. I visited this place for lunch. The menu is small with light breakfast and lunch options available at a decent price. I ordered the slow roasted lamb roll and a their cafè brewed Egyptian Rose iced tea. The lamb roll was nice enough and the iced tea was refreshing and sweet. I also had a coffee to go and it was as good as expected. It is worth a visit to this friendly little cafè to take in a bit of Surry Hills.
