Maya Masala - Surry Hills

Looking for any restaurant and landed at may masala. It was tough to order food as menue was bit confusing. Ordered SAAG and Chole bhatoore.....cant except any better "makke di roti" than the one which i got with Saag.I should say thats the best i had in last decade or so.If someone wants to know what "makke di roti is ?? Then now you have a place to get the answer.Being a foodie I would recommend to keep "Gud ~jaggery along with saag to give another authentic taste.

Was taken here whilst on business by an Indian colleague who is vegetarian. We had a wide variety of food all of it was fantastic. I would definitely go back.

Excellent Indian food. Staff - great. Ambience - average. Food - excellent food. Paneer Sizzler was great. MUST TRY - INDIAN SWEETS.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and have never reviewed it. Went again this evening. Whilst I am a meat eater, this restaurant definitely keeps me satisfied. I love the Dosa with Paneer. Great flavour and great texture. The thalis are great but I really have nothing to compare them to. The sweets are beautiful with so many different options on display. I understand why some people think the service is poor/arrogant but I think it is the style of the restaurant. The staff have always been very helpful to me and I really can't complain. I will continue to enjoy this beautiful food.

We ordered a lot of chaat items and none of them was outstanding. imo - pretty average place with pretty average service and pretty average food.
