Pablo's Charcoal Chicken & Ribs

Visited Pablo's after reading reviews, and also happened to be in the area. Ordered the Portuguese chicken burger with bacon and a small chips, this set me back $14.50. All in all, not bad but, not the greatest either. I wanted bacon and egg in my burger, egg wasn't available. The bread was cold, I was expecting the buns to, at least, be warm, but were cold. The chips were tiny, not many at all. The taste wasn't bad, I did enjoy, just a few items that irked me. Staff are very nice, quick service and helpful. Food: Tastes ok but, nothing to write home about Ambience: It's a standard shop with take away service Price: I can get a lot more at the Portuguese Chicken shop in Petersham for the money I paid.

I used to live in Surry Hills for 3 years and this place was literally my go-to for a quick meal for when i really couldn't be bothered cooking. I moved to Melbourne just over a year ago now and i still crave Pablo's. I have NEVER! had anything like it. The chicken is just incredible, the chips are some of the best chips i have ever had in my life (salted perfectly), the chicken roll is to die for! and the guys who work there are incredible! (A good hack is to order a side of the peri-peri oil and drizzle it over the chips.) Now that i live in Melbourne, sometimes i just gaze upon Zomato's page just to look at the pictures and to appreciate how amazing Pablo's is. Pablo's, you have such a huge place in my heart and i miss you so much! When i am back in Sydney, you will be the first thing on my to do list!

Seriously good chicken rolls here. Make sure you get it with chilli. Very tasty charcoal chicken, crispy bun fresh lettuce and mayo. Friendly and quick service with a relaxed atmosphere.

I went for the half Chicken and was very pleased. The chicken itself was delicious and well complemented by the chili. I was served by a delightful little man behind  the counter.

Pablo's is a nice yet simple and casual place to grab a quick bite. We came here and ordered one of their packs (1/4 chicken, chips and salad) ($13.5). We didn't have to wait too long and service was relatively friendly. The chicken was a bit charred on the sides and was unpleasant to eat, however the chips and salad made up for that. Overall, it was a decent meal.
