Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge

Do no order the fish and chips!! The batter was more like uncooked dough and the very small piece of fish in it was far from fresh. After mentioning this to the server, she proceeded to tell me she had several recent complaints! There was no offer to exchange the meal so I just paid for and left.

I been here many times the staff including the waiter went about and beyond thank you for good food and service

It’s unfortunate that the quality and service has degraded over the years. At one time Smithies was the sought after place. I will say the restaurant was clean, coffee was fresh. Management need provide appropriate training to cooks, my skillet was most all home fries, very little any vegetables and cheese was scarce. This was the third disappointing trip to Smitties. Toast was very tasteless, pancakes had a funny taste and to add prices are very high.

Ordered the bacon Denver omelette because of the bacon. Dish came with no bacon. Mentioned to waitress but never got it. Poor service. Offered me 10% off. I won't be back.

Nothing overly special about the place. An average, good place to eat a quick meal. My fiancé’s burger was quite good.
