Went on a Monday afternoon/ evening time. Atmosphere was quite, food was adequate . Not great , the chicken and bacon tagliatelle came more like a bowl of soup ! Way too much sauce and just 3 chicken strips. Very disappointed to be honest. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Lasagne

A rough around the edges in a good way pub. It was very quiet the lunch time we went so we were quickly served. We had a pleasant meal, but I was disappointed with the lack of vegan options nothing on the lunchtime menu at all, so we had to order from the Evening menu, but even on this there were no vegan starters, and the server didn 't realise the Cheesecake of the Day was vegan until we had paid our bill. The two vegan mains were both described as spicy or lightly spiced . We really don 't need all vegan dishes to be spicy . Just good, well flavoured food! So Marstons please step away from the chilli!
