Hillcrest Fish - Swadlincote

Great little fish and chip shop! Clean, friendly staff and the usual choice of offerings from an real English chippy . They have fish (of course , fish cakes, various pies, sausages plus vegetarian offerings. Despite being small (and no seating to eat in it is adequate for fast food. Enough space to park while you are being served. Tonight Mrs G and I lost track of time and were not in the mood to cook at home again so I decided on this less healthy but convenient option. Mrs G had haddock while I had a large sausage and we shared an order of chips fries for our US brethren more than we could possibly eat between the two of us!
