Anthony's Pier 4 Cafe - Swampscott

Exceptional fine dining experience! The views are stunning, and the service is attentive yet not intrusive. The menu is seafood-focused but offers a nice variety, with options for everybody in our group of five, including starters, salads, seafood, steaks, and desserts. I appreciate that there aren’t too many choices to overwhelm us. We were pleasantly surprised by the popovers and butter served as an appetizer. I can’t wait to return!

This place is truly a hidden gem. They offer complimentary popovers and marinated mushrooms, which is a nice touch. We tried the grey sole and the swordfish, and both dishes were outstanding. The value you get here is unbeatable, especially considering the stunning view.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, but the food was just average considering the prices.

Delicious food, attentive waitstaff and lovely ocean view

One of the last of the greats! This place is a gem. While you're overlooking the ocean with the Boston skyline twinkling through every floor to ceiling window, you are eating superbly prepared food in a family-owned restaurant. The staff is warm, professional and excellent at what they do. Manager and Maitre d', George keeps things in line with what was the original Anthony's Pier 4 in Boston. The family has sold the property to the town, so go there while it lasts. It's a treat you'll treasure.
