Rolandale - Swellendam

This is a lovely spot to enjoy homemade roosterkoek! They offer a variety of options, from sweet to savory, all of which are delicious and served hot when they arrive at your table. The coffee milkshake was also fantastic. They have a selection of honey products and homemade creams as well. There’s even a section with books and a play area for children. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the soft background music created a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely stop by more often than I do in Riversdale!

I went there for lunch and had a cheeseburger with fries and paprika. The food was really good, and I absolutely loved the outdoor seating area! The staff was also very friendly.

This place has many wonderful features. One of my favorites is the pools! The staff take great pride in decorating with fresh flowers and keeping the restrooms clean. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The rooster koek is a must-try, especially with cheese, egg, and speck. Don't miss out on the cappuccino topped with cream—it's wonderfully strong. The view from N2 can be misleading; once you step inside and go out the back door, you're greeted by endless mountains and grass—absolutely beautiful!

This is a great place to stop and relax. beautiful environment, great service, good South African hahnkoek and a safe playground for children. my wife and I can recommend a stop here.

Such a lovely alternative to the busy Buffeljags. Excellent service and delicious roosterkoeke. Doesn't seem like it would get busy. Spacious area to sit and for kids to play!
