Amber Steakhouse - Swiftwater

Its sooo sad because the service is always amazing!! The food is great...The staff and bartenders are exceptional.....I WOULD give it 5 stars !!! But the owner is the NASTIEST person alive shes a racist ! I will never spend another penny in this esbtablishment ! If you 're a person of color i wouldn 't recommend this place because the owner will SIT AND WATCH YOU ...the entire time! So last week i got off of work with my coworkers and ordered the amber special which is a steak meal that comes with a bake potato and unlimited salad bar ! As i order my food the bartender shows me the salad bar as me and my friends go to the salad bar the owner began SCREAMING AT US hurry up and get your salad the bartender and the server began to apologize for her behavior! As we sit and eat she literally sat and glared at us as we ate ! We went to the bathroom, and came back this woman THREW ALLLLLL OF OUR STUFF OUT INCLUDING PERSONAL BELONGINGS!! We leave because it wasnt worth arguing! Fast forward to last night... we get off early again, they want the steak no other place was open besides the casino so im like whatt the heck lets go whats the odds of her being there agaIn ! As soon as we walk in the door shes standing in the doorway looking like Cruella scolding all of her customers who are black and hispanic ! Its 12:30 she stood in the same spot with until last call 1:30 with her arms crossed glaring at the guest ! She 's belittling her bartenders, they are moving frantically serving last call... NOW THIS ESTABLISHMENT DOESNT CLOSE UNTIL 2!!! Why at 1:45 shes yells and tells all of the guest to GET OUTTTTTT a guy is rushing finishing his drink why did this lady yell you ordered that at 1:35 you should have been finished by now get out !! I looked at her in total disbelief, i told her to her face she is the reason i will never patron this establishment again, her customer service is horrible and i will write a review on every site there is! She looked at me and said good i dont want you here !!

At first I thought the place was good due to the amount of positive reviews which the establishment was given. Customer be aware. If you are interested in a low lit dim place with expensive lunch food then this is your location! The waiter did not seem to be happy about his employment and the food such as the filet minion with fried shrimp costing $25 is a total rip off. If in the mood for a small entree and decent sangria then you are in store. But be aware you might need two or three drinks to make it count. I rather buy the food and make myself to come here again. Once again. If you have large pockets and don't mind being ripped off. Then this is your location. A very disappointed customer. (Burger King makes better burgers by the way)

Excellent salad bar good prices family friendly. Great service. Dinner was awesome enjoyed our visit.

It's important to support local establishments or risk losing them altogether. The steaks are solid and reasonably priced in the $20 range, while there are numerous diner-style meals available for just $6 to $8. Although the location could use some updates, the food is delicious. The staff was attentive, and the waitresses were very friendly.

Stake is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great. The server was very kind to us, making our experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful time with my group. I have a couple of suggestions: I would appreciate it if the dishes were nicer. With such high-quality food, I would recommend moving away from a diner vibe and investing in better dishware and enhancing the service. The staff truly make the experience special. Thank you for being so welcoming and providing such professional service!
