Bidra med feedbackI'm not a picky eater but this was pretty much my least satisfying breakfast experience ever. Pros:- Waitresses were friendly enough- The food looked pretty- Atmosphere and decor were pretty good Cons:- First of all they served one of our orders wrong (but the waitress did bring us the correct order without hassle once we told her so that was fine)- However the food was not very good: our two plates of breakfast tasted VERY STRONGLY of vinegar. 1. The poached eggs were sooo vinegary which toweringly overpowered the otherwise tasty mushrooms, chorizo, hashbrown and toast. The whole dish was also quite wet (from the eggs I think).2. The muffins for the smoked salmon dish were powdery, crumbly and dry. AGAIN the poached eggs were very vinegary but the not-very-creamy hollandaise sauce was the champion of the vinegar competition. We felt we had a little pot of thickened vinegar which again covered any other flavours of the smoked salmon and spinach. The dish overall was also very bland apart from the vinegar. 3. The coffee was ok but we felt there was too much milk and not much coffee.4. Pretty expensive for the quality of food they served up. Overall quite disappointed, so even though the lunch/dinner menu looked good we most likely won't be coming back :(
This was a delightful little place to pop into for a mid afternoon pick-me-up. I sat in a comfortable outer couch seat and had a nice cappuccino and a San Pellegrino. Nothing that can't be replicated elsewhere but the Oreo sweet roll was soft and fresh and the whole package came together for a nice experience.
Popular for business meetings, pretty quiet and they don't rush you. Great for drinks after work. Miserly sized teapots! Outside seating nice
If it was possible to write a review and simultaneously give 0 stars, I would Slow, slow, slow service.
I have been to this place a few times, most of them for business meetings with clients since I work across the road from it, but have also been for lunch
