The Bavarian Miranda - Sydney

The service was quick and polite and the atmosphere is good but the food was terrible. I had a schnitzel that I only half ate because it was dry and chewy. My daughter had a hamburger that she did not finish as it was also dry. We have eaten there a fair few times and it has been good. But of late the food quality seems to be getting worse. We will definitely not be going back there again .

I ordered the jäger schnitzel, which was overcooked, with a mushroom ragout that had hardly any mushrooms and an overly reduced cream sauce. The side of broccoli only had two small florets. Other people at the table ordered mac and cheese balls, but a cheeseburger was served instead. The older male staff member with glasses seemed unenthusiastic. On the bright side, the drinks were great!

The New menu was a little bit of a disappointment delighted to see BBQ ribs return, but they were not as nice or tender) as the old ones. The sausage plates have dropped in value: used to have 2 sides, now only 1. We were not able to exchange sides: wife cannot eat potato) had to order potato, and get red cabbage as side. Chilli beef sausages weren 't spicy, and were tough/chewy. Will go kransky next time. No wedges or Redbock, either :

We dined on a Sunday night. Had to add an extra adult which was no problem. Spacious table. Friendly service. Waiter memorized our order for 7. Kids ate free. All meals came out together all correct and decent servings. Did not feel rushed to leave. Fairly quiet. Kids played on soccer table. Could not find fault.

This was my first time visiting a Bier cafe that had run out of several of its tap beers. Approximately 20% of the beers on tap were unavailable.
