The Tea Room QVB - Sydney

First time I went there I was very hungry and wanted to have lunch. I was turned away because I was alone and they needed tables for 2 +. Not a good start. Same happened at Lid & Jar Chatswood, needless to say they lost my patronage. Next time I was with my mum, and she was taken by their beautiful interior, so I agreed to give them another go. We were asked to wait outside while table was cleared. Next we were asked if we are having lunch. It was around 3.30 pm, so we said no, just afternoon tea. Then we were told that tables inside are for customers ordering lunch. After us stating that lunch time is truly over the waitress allowed us to sit inside. I had coffee which was good, however I don't feel a need to go there again, especially since there are numerous places in QVB.
