Kyoto Japanese Steak House - Sykesville

We've been going to Tony for years. Always in line with quality and service. It's so good I had my Christmas party there several times. The portions will not skip! Everyone we've ever taken here has said it's the best Hibachi they've ever had. Tony adds his personal touch to every meal and his staff does it too. It doesn't matter if its sushi seafood chicken or steak itself do a favor and go to Tony's to see how great food can be!

Super attentive staff as soon as we entered! Large portions and excellent quality for all the sushi we ordered. Try the salmon tartare. We enjoyed the happy hour price for cocktails which is unusual for a weekend especially a holiday, we were there New Year's Day. We enjoyed our time there so much we are returning soon to celebrate our anniversary and try the hibachi. We had such wonderful service and great quality that it is easy to recommend. They also seemed to be fully staffed so they must be taking care of their people.

Went their for a birthday celebration and we all enjoyed ourselves at the grille. The food was as good as it looked and smelled. It seems that many other people felt that way because it was packed. Dropped a pretty penny for it but I think it was worth it.

This is a place u go to for the food but not necessarily the cocktails. The cocktails will be strong (alcohol heavy) if that 's your thing, but they won 't have that mixologist level of intricate tasty flavors. Now if u keep that tidbit in mind so you 'll have realistic expectations for the drinks, the food and the service will blow you away. The salad and soup they serve u before your hibachi was a hit for both the adults and our children. I never saw children rave about how delicious a salad was before. The hibachi itself is whatever ingredients u choose cooked in front of u as a show. It is always made with the freshest of ingredients and is well seasoned and sauced. They also have a non-hibachi menu with sushi/sashimi etc that are made fresh to order and are delicious as well. I 've visited this location over a dozen times and I try something different often. I have never had a meal that was less than amazing.

If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would! First of all, I want to thank the chef for making my birthday dinner so wonderful. The warm, respectful attitude and positive energy made the experience truly special! If you're considering going here, just go for it. I initially booked a reservation for 7 but pushed it back to 8, and they accommodated me perfectly.
