Mama Ree's - Sylacauga

The restaurant has a warm family atmosphere and offers both a buffet and a menu. The food is fresh and seasoned like home-cooked meals, which I really enjoyed. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and mentioned that she has been working there since she was 12. Overall, great food and wonderful people!

Family owned, everything is done at home. Great staff. I lived almost enough to go every day. Buffet restaurant. And if you like Peach Cobbler!!! They'll close at 2:00, so you'll get there early.

Mama Ree's? Count me in! We always make it a point to stop there during our travels from Tennessee to the Gulf Coast. I have to say, we were not disappointed. If you're looking for something else, maybe try another place. But if you appreciate delicious, fresh farm-to-table cuisine and some of the friendliest staff you could hope for, Mama Ree's is unbeatable!

I enjoyed a simple country meal at the buffet. Everything had a fresh, homemade taste. I loved it and will definitely return to Childersburg next time!

No matter which day of the week you visit, the food and service are consistently exceptional. I highly recommend the chicken and dressing available on Sundays and Thursdays, and the catfish served on Fridays is a must-try. Don't miss the chicken and dumplings either...
