Traveling through New York, we stumbled on this really beautiful location. The service is even more friendly than the reviews can testify, from the owner to the waiter, we were blown away from the kindness and hospitality, while also still given our room to enjoy our meal. This place has mastered the balance. Super bonus that they were amazing with our pooch on the terrace. Our food was nicely plated, perfect to sometimes large portions paired with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. You get so much bang for your Buck here as Road Tripping Foodie. The Buratta with freshly grilled peaches, peaches and hot honey is a combination of tastes that I now have to have more regular in my life! The arachinni began with a delightful crispy exterior that leaves the delicate risotto and tastefully packed mushrooms. For drinks we chose the apple mill trough and the Strawberry Rhubarb negroni. Both were well made, the Neger perfectly balanced on just one tad sweet, while still with fresh strawberry flavor and *I believe* Rhubarb bitters. I had the salmon with Farfelle and my partner, the quarter. My part was huge, bright with dill and capers, the Pasta al Dente. The smoke from the salmon added a beautiful base note to the cream sauce, which danced on the line of rich but light with the offered lemon wedge, with which I sprayed it. The chicken! I don't think we've ever prepared chickens so masterfully that the skin was just the right amount of crispy, the glaze 's heat was light and sweet. The meat was moist and fell from the bone. We ordered almost a second! Wonderfully we had room for Dessert. The apple wine donut is just as beautiful as the photos in all reviews show it to be. The donut was fabulous. As a donut and autumn lover, I had high hopes and they were not disappointed. It had a large structure, able to support a puppet player of vanilla-bean ice cream without ever becoming stogie. Its taste was easy from apple, not sugar and overall a great way to wrap our night. We definitely have the place on the 'buy a pitcher for the kitchen', she deserves that more! I can't ask you to stay here if you have the chance. Thank you. The Cider Mill is a surprising highlight of our trip.
Had 2 reservations on arrival said they had a cancellation and we could sit outside if we wanted to. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. Riggies were excellent, I chose the roasted chicken was perfectly tender and damp. Also had the flurless chocolate cake with black raspberry ice cream Husband had the smoked salmon pasta and Strawberry Rhubarb shortcake, he enjoyed both. He also enjoyed the Strawberry Rhubarb Negroni cocktail he had with dinner!
The service was great! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. They served a house made focaccia bread that was very good. We had the arancini, the NY strip, the Chip N? Dip burger, and the crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. Great place to have a nice dinner.
Today I was the one who slept at the table with joy. You have real talent in the kitchen and behind the bar. Every time I order, I'm so happy. New menu four times a year, which is well balanced and super tasty. This is a real Syracuse fairy for which I am so grateful. Definitely takes date night to the next level when eating and drinking is so good. Thank you for the respect gf (gluten-free) as well. Really appreciate and feel welcome.
