North Slope Coffee - Tacoma

They are way overpriced! The coffee is horrible and the service is atrocious! If you don't mind overpaying for lousy coffee that's being served by rude people and this is the place!Food: 1/5

I used to love this place, and I'm sad to leave a somewhat critical review. The two stars are for convenient location and friendly staff. However, the coffee is not great anymore and they've raised their prices to the point that it's ridiculous compared to other places in tacoma. I paid almost $7 for a 12oz oat latte (before tip . At a local roaster on 6th (I won't name names... I pay $6 for a 16 oz, and it's much better coffee.

There are wayyy better places to get coffee in Tacoma. There’s no consistency and now that there are so many new people who haven’t been properly trained it seems, the chances of you getting a bad cup of coffee are high. It was a little better when the prices were lower but the owner jacked up the price and they haven’t even had the drip coffee fixed for almost a month. I think the owner cares more about padding her pockets than actually having a great coffee shop. Do yourself a favor and support one of the many better coffee shops in the neighborhood. Cosmonaut, Manifesto, Valhalla- just to name a few.

Finally found a great coffee place i can walk to at my lunch break!! Alicia did an amazing job on my drink and i will for sure be back a lot now that i found somewhere my coffee was made to perfection!!

Alicia (hopefully that's spelled correctly) is the best barista, her drinks are so good and she is so sweet and friendly. She is the reason I love north slope coffee!
