Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a welcome addition to Tahlequah. The fish and shrimp are exceptional and made fresh to order. I also loved their red rice and beans. Although I had to wait about half an hour for my order, the owner was very friendly and explained that many of the staff are new. A little kindness goes a long way! I highly recommend this place.
Excellent food and outstanding service, all delivered quickly. We've visited several times, and they consistently maintain their high standards. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food.
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the 20-piece grilled jumbo shrimp with green beans and red beans with rice. My mother had the 6-piece fried shrimp Po Boy with red beans and rice. Both meals were fantastic and freshly cooked while we waited. I also got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, which came with about 15 slices, served piping hot, along with a side of ranch dressing.
I was just once that I didn't try much. The French fries are as similar to all others. Onion rings are good, so are the fried green tomatoes. I had the chicken livers and gizzards. The Gizzards were small and not almost as delicious as Charlie's Chicken, but the livers were great. The chicken livers are always so dry at Charlie's Chicken and they are definitely not at Sam's. The Coleslaw was good, sweet and creamy. You also have fried oysters, which I was told, was good. It's nice that they have things on their menu that you can't get around here in small old tahlequah. And you will not starve; they give you a lot of food. It is worth checking.
This place is AWESOME! Best Oysters I've had in Oklahoma!! Shrimp are huge and delicious as well. I prefer everything grilled but have tried the fried options and it was delicious too. I don't know what they do to the green beans but I wish the side order was bigger. Yumm
