Tahoe Tap Haus - Tahoe City

Got the BLAT and loved every minute of it! Second time here and everyone loved their meal. Grilled chicken was phenomenal.

Had never been to Tahoe City before, and the Tap Haus was in walking distance to our hotel. The lady I came with was talking up the burgers from the pictures on the menu. You order from the bar and they bring the food to your table. We both got burgers and the waffle fries. The burgers we amazing, big and juicy and the waffle fries did not disappoint either. Special mention to the the drinks from the bar, my Manhattan was great, my lady sampled some dark beer, both were great. Definitely requires a return visit next time. I am here.

The burger patties are bland, they taste like they were made with old beef or seasoned poorly. The sweet potato tots come with a really bland sauce that just tastes like sour cream. The salad tasted watery, as if the lettuce had been sitting in their fridge for months. The Hauz Hot Dog says it’s supposed to come with a Brioche bun but it came with a white bread bun and the server lied to our face and told us that it was brioche. Lastly, the chicken fingers claim to come with 7 pieces but when it was brought out only 5 pieces came with it and the server said that the menu changed and they were only giving 4 pieces now. Absolutely horrendous experience here. Never coming again. Tried out a new spot and regret it.

Food was fairly good overall! They do a good job of labeling gluten free and vegetarian options. The naan yo business vegetarian wrap was really flavourful with a good amount of sauce.You have to bus your own tables and it's a little chilly if sitting outside even with the heaters.

Food was good, but we had to bust our own table to help keep the staff safe… yet the woman at the front didn’t wear a mask. If I would have known we needed to bust our own table I wouldn’t have left a good tip.
