The Pioneer Cocktail Club - Tahoe City

A quaint cocktail bar and eatery across from the lake. Pretty standard cocktails and bites. We didn’t eat there, but the food menu seemed a little pricey. Cool local vibes though!

I'm going to throw away half of $28 burger. Taste terrible, but they charge 20% of tip mandatorily on TAKE OUT. Think twice before you order.

Paid $55 for a decent Cesar, and undercooked, personal size margarita pizza (that was otherwise very well made) and a glass of water. Probably a good place for just a cocktail, the SF hipster vibe was strong.

Come here for exceptional balanced drinks and the best bar food you've ever eaten. Go for Happy Hour, stay for dinner, and do not worry about fast service (it is not). The pizza (we had Hawaiian Punch and Green Meanie) were fantastic. Street Tacos were delicious and clear homemade. Happy Hour (3-6pm, M-F) is discounted drinks and a dollar from Tacos.
