Chung Yi Vegetarian Beitun District

Really good! we went there with a Taiwanese so no problem to order, but there is no English menu at all and the personal does not speak English so it can be hard to order if they don't speak Chinese.

When they are in the mood, for spicy eating, they eat here. this little hole in the wall restaurant is amazing. we had three dishes all for 190 td (about $6 us) and felt guilty because eating was so good that we had to pay more. apparently they also serve ma jiang (basch tahini nudels), because we overheard someone to order them. I bet the ma jiang would be really good here. I think everything's vegan. we told them that I don't eat fish or eggs and they said they don't have fish or eggs. translate their needs before the time because none of the workers speak English, and my Chinese accent is so bad that they don't even understand me. the menu is also only in Chinese, but there are photos of some of the dishes. Note: there are at least three chung yi vegetarian restaurants in taichung. the card point on happycow is not exactly right so I have uploaded a screen shot of the restaurant point (red away point) of google maps.
