Wū Lǐ - Tainan City

For people from Hong Kong it is like a family meal in Taiwanese style. Although it tasted differently than dishes in Hong Kong, it really reminds us of our home. The waiters are really nice and sweet, which makes us feel at home again. For foreign travelers, it is a really good goal for you to taste dishes at home in Taiwan.

Super delicious traditional dishes with a comfortable environment, great place for a nice meal or a stop between Confucius Temple and yo-ai street, definitely worth a try!!

This place is great. The staff was super helpful despite the language barrier and the food was great!

Their specialty is Chinese herbal chicken soups. But we didn’t feel like having hot soups. So we just ordered a few common Chinese dishes. They turned out to be quite tasty. The owner emphasized on how they don’t use any MSGs and only uses a certain breed of chicken for their dishes. And the meal did feel healthy and burden free. The place is very charming. Clean and simple design. Plays great music in the background. We really enjoyed the experience.

Simple and decent place to eat local Chinese foods. Can tell Owner is quite demanding for quality foods and want healthy dishes deliver to customers. 水煮牛 is unexpectedly tender and tell they use good meat and ingredients. Great dining experience and will come again.
