ǎi Zǐ Chéng Xiā Rén Fàn - Tainan

One of the must try food in Tainan. The shrimp fried rice is nice. The fried duck egg also not bad. The clam is fresh. It is recommended to dropby if you visit Tainan. And their price also reasonable.

Came here for the 蝦仁飯 and it did not disappoint. Local equivalent to a prawn risotto. Very flavorful and shrimps are springy. Other dishes are just mediocre sidekicks.

Shrimp roasted rice with duck was great. Clam soup was fresh and delicious! Friendly service, but a little expensive.

My second time there. The shrimp rice is still good. I would describe it as not a fried rice but a drier version of a shrimp risotto. I order the duck soup the last time which was a bit sweet and an udon style bonito soup. I ordered the gooey duck egg today but it was unfortunately not good that half cooked. Sigh.

I have to eat in Tainan. This store is very famous for shrimp rice. Usually you can find many people, including the locals who go to din in the restaurant. You have many seats, but you need to wait a while, because the shrimp rice here is simply too ingenious
