Bidra med feedbackI am glad that there was an available table where six of us could sit on a Saturday without reservation. the place hits! the menu is bilingual and clearly indicates which foods are vegan, ovo, ovo-lacto or contains allium. but only because a dish contains allium does not mean that it is vegan by default: we had to order the pumpkin croquettes without mayonnaise to avoid the consumption of animal products. the desserts are also not clearly marked, but if they order them without condensed milk, they are all set. (they did not seem ready to order us the seasonal ices that usually come with cheese without the cheese, although I thought it was just a tad expensive for what it was, but I guess we pay an Instagram tax. the personal was also careful that we had the rainbow mixed, washed ice without condensed milk, because they had feared it would not be tasted. but it has proven to be quite sweet. I'm not sure I'd order it again because of that. they pay in cash only when they order at the theke, and they serve water, utensil and spice. the personal brings out their order, but they collect their own dishes after they are finished.
Clean and well furnished restaurant. be not stupid, there are no raves on the menu! but I had the kichi that came with soy meat, rice and a broth. pretty taiwan dollars and was fully satisfied. free drinking water. they even have an English menu, just ask for eswould to go back when I change, but not overly in love with the place.
Eating was nice, but the menu was not marked, so I had to find an English-speaking server to find out what is and is not vegan. at the end I got mapo tofu (with baked tofu subbed for not ground) and the macha shaved ice. the maps tofu was beautiful, but not as good as I had it (vegan) several other places.
The restaurant is crowded with students because of its decoration and location. If you like to try Japanese food and take beautiful pictures, this is the place you will fall in love with.
I was happy to find a table available for six of us on a Saturday without a reservation. The restaurant was bustling! The menu is bilingual and clearly indicates which dishes are vegan, vegetarian, or contain allergens like allium. However, just because a dish contains allium doesn't mean it's automatically vegan - we had to order the pumpkin croquettes without mayonnaise to avoid animal products. The desserts weren't clearly labeled either, but if you ask for them without condensed milk, you're good to go. Unfortunately, they weren't willing to make seasonal ice creams without cheese, which was disappointing. It seems like there's an "Instagram tax" involved. The staff was cautious about us ordering the mixed fruit shaken ice without condensed milk, worried it would affect the taste. It ended up being too sweet for my liking. I'm not sure if I would order it again. You pay cash only at the counter, and they provide water, utensils, and spices. The staff brings out your food, but you clear your own dishes when you're done.
