Bidra med feedbackRuth was our server, and she was incredible! She was very attentive and even took my salmon off the table because it was slightly undercooked, without me having to ask. She truly made our dining experience enjoyable, and the food was delicious as always. I would rate it a 10/10 and will definitely return to this location.
As for the service, the young server was nice, but he definitely needs more training. It’s better to wait until we’ve had a chance to try the food before asking how it is. A simple check to see if we needed drink refills or anything else before we asked for our to-go box would have been appreciated. The overall environment was disappointing—dirty and unpleasantly odorous, with a filthy floor. The waitstaff spent time discussing their personal issues from the previous day at our table, which is neither the time nor place. They need to focus on cleaning up and being more professional. When we left, the ladies who greeted us didn’t seem to care; there was no goodbye or thank you for coming. It felt like everything came with an additional charge, making me wish the restaurant would put in more effort to enhance the customer experience. Overall, I was not impressed.
When I arrived at 9:32 PM, still on hold, I asked to speak with a manager. He seemed indifferent and simply told them to rush my order. We finally placed our order, and it took until 10:28 PM to leave, so it took over an hour for what was supposed to be a rushed order. The service was extremely poor, and the management could use some improvement. When I received my food, the mac and cheese looked old, and I had to send the salmon back because one piece wasn't crusted. They did fix it, but the overall quality of the meal was disappointing. Plus, they were supposed to close at 11:00 PM, so there’s really no excuse for the delays. Honestly, it wasn’t busy at all when we arrived—there were only two people at the bar, and the parking lot wasn’t full either. If you know Longhorn, you know that the Tallahassee location is usually packed. They really need to step up their game!
Be ready for a long wait! The time it took to get our entire dinner was unacceptable. I cannot recommend this steakhouse and will not be returning to this location. The management was also quite disappointing. Just a heads up!
I couldn't believe it! A valet informed me that they had made an independent decision to close early due to slow business. Seriously? They would only let in a few customers as they finished their meals while the door locked behind them, even with a bus full of patrons still dining. This is incredibly poor business practice. I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt before, but this experience has pushed me over the edge. It's a gamble to visit, like rolling dice and hoping they'll be open when you arrive. They clearly don't care about their customers, and Tallahassee deserves better! We deserve better!
