Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Tallahassee

I frequent this TS and today I had the WORST service. I stood at the register to be greeted for about 5 minutes, no one even looked my way. After my order was taken, I watched Janie (the girl making my wrap) joke around and play around with her coworker (hoping it was not the manager because he was extremely unprofessional). It took Janie 15 minutes to make my wrap and it was still missing ingredients. I am highly dissatisfied with this location and will advise family/friends to avoid!

I got a Beach Bum with pb and a Ultimate Club without tomatoes. The Beach Bum came out quickly and was awesome as I come to expect from other locations. Then my girlfriend and I watched the worker preparing the sandwiches take 12 minutes to prepare a single sandwich, during that time she touched her hair with her glove twice without changing them, put wilted lettuce on our sandwich and almost added tomatoes to it. It's a good thing we aren't allergic. Extremely disappointed?

I LOVE tropical smoothie, but this location really sucks. The food is never prepared correctly and the smoothies are always watered down. I?ve never gotten one from here that was just made as it should be. I always have to come back or ask for my stuff to be remade. I?ve literally had an issue with them my last 3 visits! I always try to come back and give them the benefit of the doubt... but they just deserve the doubt honestly. Customer service and energy is very poor too!

This location just recently remodeled and opened back up in the Gov. Sq mall, and with that being said my expectation was high for new staffing, service, and overall customer engagement. So much for high hopes, because I witnessed all the same behaviors of the past prior to them closing for remodel. I will only stop at this location if I decide to take my lunch break at the mall otherwise, I prefer to go to the location two blocks over on Magnolia. I was dissatisfied with my smoothie. On two occasions I've ordered a smoothie and the taste and consistency was not to standard. The smoothie was really choppy, not smooth at all; it needed to be blended more. The wait time was long and being on a timed lunch break I didn't have the time to request another one.

I’m updating my review. After a poor experience, I have to say that every visit since has been fantastic. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food is excellent.
