Urban Food Market +39 - Tallahassee

I visited my daughter at the F.S.U. and wanted to find a new place. I have read reviews and made a reservation in the Tallahassee location on Monroe street. I even received an email confirmation for this place, but when we arrived there was a message that would not be opened until March 2020! Most restaurants were still under construction!

We love Urban Market, but the whole complex is closed for repairs. Drove all the way to find everything closed. How can you confirm reservations in a place that is not even open?

I tried to have a nice birthday dinner for my mom. Menu elements not available, food inappropriate cooked, HORRIBLE service. Not sad to hear it's closing.

The appetizer was the only thing I would say was especially good. The net lacks taste. The service was abysmal. The drinks took us forever. The $100 price tag is not worth it at all.

We were excited to make a third or fourth visit to +39. Our dinner turned out to be a big disappointment. The server was pleasant, but we shouldn't have had to ask for a fourth roll for a table of four. The Caesar salad had so little dressing that it tasted like nothing more than a bowl of naked romaine lettuce. One member of our party ordered salmon, and it came overcooked and not prepared at all as the menu described it. We'd love to see +39 thrive, because we need that style of restaurant in our part of the city, but we're not sure we want to bother going back.
