Bidra med feedbackSimply an outstanding experience. Stuff is incredible, friendly and pleasant. We took six meals degustation menu. Spent 2,5 hours and enjoyed every single moment of it. Ah, yeah, one of the best Whisky Sour I've ever tried. Thank you, Chef and Stuff!
Had dinner here this weekend and this is an excellent restaurant. The food was very good, both entrée and dessert were beautiful. Service was friendly and not overly formal. The dining space was pleasant and surprisingly small. Food was not cheap, but considering the quality I would say it was very reasonable. I have had far less accomplished meals at higher prices. Recommended for a nice dining experience in Tallinn!
The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is excellent. Traditional menu of Russian cuisine. The experience was wonderful. Pavlova dessert I recommend!
After a night at the quite modern Noa Chefs Hall which was a very no nonsense Michelin-restaurant which worked like a precise watch, we had reserved a table to another higly praised Tallinn restaurant, the Tchaikovsky. It is the main restaurant of the Telegraaf hotel and as soon as you enter the hotel premises you might realize what the dinner experience could entail. Classical music playing quietly from the hidden speakers, classic almost baroque decor and furni without being cheesy or kitchy, and a polite, quietly spoken staff who was very helpful from the moment we entered the lounge bar. The restaurant itself was exactly like this and we were quite pleased. Note that this establishment has a dress code of Smart Casual and we were content to see that every guest was dressed for the occasion. We were at the restaurant precisely on time and we were greeted again warmly. The greeter helped us take a photo with our camera even though we didn´t ask for it, which was kind. The place wasn 't too full, although it wasn´t a big venue to begin with. We were able to choose whichever table we wanted. We took a corner sofa table, so we could enjoy the possible musical show. This proved to be a good choice, as the trio played strings (which you know are very loud) so if we were to sit closer to the entrance, we would have have a harder time to speak to each other. The show lasted for maybe one hour, which was enough. The staff was pretty young and they weren 't as stiff as your usual waiters at Michelin-tier restaurants. But they also had more experienced staff members, who talked us through the wine menu. This place offers wines also by glass, if you don 't want to share a full bottle. The menu was traditional russian/european food, which we enjoyed from start to end. Blinis, borcsh soups, caviar, they have it all. Venison as the main course was smooth as butter, served with pureed veggies and sauces. We shared a desert, which was set aflame before our eyes after serving. The night was complete in maybe two-two and a half hours, maybe more as we took a couple of coctail after the desert. They were in no rush to guide us out. Price for the whole evening was acceptable, but if you want you can spend a thosand euros for a bottle of vintage wine.
My partner and I visited this restaurant on Friday 29th December and felt suitably impressed with the ambiance, attentive service and a truly fabulous tasting menu. The place can be described as very classy with understated elegance about it. The selection of mini dishes was a true feast for the discerning pallet …especially the duck and venison medallion, a truly exquisite combination of meats which would melt in your mouth followed by the best ever Pavlova dessert. Our friendly and knowledgeable waiter Nikita looked after us exceptionally well and explained about every dish. The chefs, Yurij and Alexander did an amazing job. We can definitely recommend this place to everyone who visits Tallin…it’s not to be missed! Thank you to the entire Team for a fantastic gastronomic experience xx
