Rising Moon - Tameside

After being recommended by a friend, we decided to try this restaurant for the first time and we were thoroughly impressed. Our food was prepared exactly as we requested, and I was especially pleased to see that it was served on hot plates. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Eighteen of us gathered in remembrance of my brother on his 70th birthday at the pub. Despite being busy, we were able to order our drinks at the bar and settle at our table. Shortly after, a waitress came to take our order. The food was all freshly cooked and served piping hot. I had the best fish and chips I have had in a long time, with generous portions. The menu was reasonably priced and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Tandoori chicken was not that I would normally expect. Rice that came with about six pieces of chicken breast was kind of spicy but different savoury flavours than Indian. Never had chicken tandoori with that kind of rice. Did not enjoy it at all. Nobody bothered to ask if it was ok. Order an other beer and ten minutes later have to ask again. Waiters was a bit grumpy. Don’t think I would be eating there again soon. A disappointment.

What an absolute fantastic restaurant , the staff are phenomenal, food is excellent, couldn’t ask for a better time

Booked a table for 5pm. Promptly sat down and drinks taken. I had the Tandoori chicken, other half had the Beef Stroganoff and my little one had the kids nuggets. Proper chicken in them too! Can’t fault the staff either, Adam was fab with my little one and Ryan’s cocktails, the best I’ve had in a long time by far. Amazing experience all round. 10/10
