Tsang's Supper - Tameside

Amazingly priced for the amount you get and great tasting, and we get a good selection of meals from Tsang's. Been going here for nearly a year now, but bought the same stuff from some other alternative places when the owners went on holiday and it was alot more expensive and just not as nice. Highly recommended, some of the nicest chips and the lady at the front is lovely friendly.

Ordered from here last night, on a night when all the opposition within miles are closed, they were and should be busy at 6.30. We were given a portion of potato scratchings Supposedly chips. Damaged my mouth within the first five mouthfuls. Old chicken in over cooked fried rice. I wouldn’t even give the left overs (of which there was lots) to the birds!! In short give this place a wide Berth.

The Chinese food at this restaurant is not overly saucy and has a fresh taste. The vegetables are crunchy and there is a distinct difference in flavors. The prices are great and offer good value for money. The staff is also friendly and accommodating.

This fish and chip shop has declined significantly in terms of taste and quality, but the prices have gone in the opposite direction. The curry and fried rice were very unpleasant.

Since moving to Mossley, I've been on the hunt for a Chinese takeout that can compare to the one we used to go to in Dukinfield (the Golden Phoenix, for anyone wondering). Unfortunately, I haven't found it yet. I've been to this place four times - twice for fish and chips, which were decent but a bit too greasy, and twice for Chinese food. Despite hearing good things, I have to admit that the food here is nothing special. It's not terrible, but it's also not outstanding. The sweet and sour dish was okay, but some of the other dishes were bland. My quest for a great takeout in Mossley is still ongoing.
