Bidra med feedbackTwo stars are for the food that is delicious and what I expected from Checkers. But the order of food is a zero-star experience. I hate getting robots to understand me, especially when we have allergies or special instructions, etc... So we had to wait in the line and then park, download the app, place the order, wait again, etc. I will never go to a checker again until they allow me to order food with a human being. This applies to any food business.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Lived in the area for about a year and have tried this spot a few times, horrible food and service every time. The GM called my boyfriend to make it right and give us 2 free meals on the house. Finally made it back that way and went in to grab our meals and of course, the staff was SO rude throughout the entire interaction. Decided to not even take the free food. Honestly, this store has major issues. We will never come back.
Alright I was a bit harsh on my first pass at this place. For a Checkers, this place is actually wicked nice. The staff is speedy and kind. I think the store just got a new paint job, which is really fun and cool in a fast-food world of brown and grey box buildings. I was served by the manager (their first night in the role) and he was EXEMPLARY. You're simply not going to find better in the business. His personal approach to my concern was refreshing compared to the canned company lines that a 20 year veteran might regurgitate. I left satisfied, happy, and with a new opinion of checkers.
Food was decent, but the reason for the poor review is they have this robotic ordering system that won?t allow you to speak to a human. My wife couldn?t even order the kids meal because the computer didn?t understand her. The next Terminator movie should be where the machines take over all restaurants talk about scary!
Very disappointed with the service, Don?t get me wrong I like the food but just yesterday I went to this location I asked for a baconzilla triple meat combo and a cheesecake Sunday with caramel I payed for my food with no problem only to get home and see that they charged me for a triple but I was given a double and they game me a small frie which was empty and the Sunday was half way down the cup. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied we work hard for our money and when we want to treat ourselves to food we want, and also make sure to receive the best of service. You need to work on giving folks the right things and making sure they get what comes with the meals especially when we up the size and stop counting the portions.
