Michael's Grill - Tampa

Wow!! Remarkably exceeded expectations!! Wife and I visiting Tampa and found this gem. Had the fish dip appetizer and then shared two entrees- the maple salmon and chicken and mushroom pasta. Outstanding!!

Disappointing. We made the reservation for our anniversary and it was not even acknowledged. They forgot to serve the bread. When it was mentioned, the server said someone should have brought it to the table. We were also not offered a wine list and my water glass was not refilled at all. We have dined here a number of times in the past and brought out of town guests with us. It has always been an excellent experience, so maybe they just had a bad night or lacked supervision.

Fabulous little restaurant that is actually about twice the size of what I expected. Would recommend a reservation at busy times. I believe there is indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors, the restaurant is clean with a bit of a darker cozy decor. The staff quite friendly and knowledgeable making great recommendations. I think the menu changes frequently as I could not find the current menu online anywhere. I purchased the steak bowl with a different coconut sauce than what was advertised. Was excellent! An appetizer of New Orleans shrimp was unique yet still loveable. For two entrees, an appetizer, a drink, and a dessert, expect to pay around $150, so it's not for the budget conscious. That being said, it was a delightful meal in a delightful setting. Would definitely come back.

We had a great birthday celebration the food was delicious conch fritters and crab cakes were exceptional! The pastas, duck, and pork Diane were all great. The staff was friendly and the ambience was perfect especially the background music!

Every time we eat here we wonder why we don't come more often. This time we brought friends from out of town who were very impressed. The service by a very attentive Anuk was spectacular. Each and every one of our dishes — appetizers, entrees and desserts — were delicious. My husband particularly loved the she crab soup, and we all loved the fried Brie. 10/10.
