Ryguy's Chicken Waffles - Tampa

As y'all can see based off the owner's response to customers, he/she acts like a little bit , need to grow up, and have no experience in customer service. Let's see what childish response I'll get compared to others...Food: 2/5

We stopped in for dinner and had the best time! We walked into the tale end of Trivia night to a packed house. Our waitress told us to hang in for 10-15 minutes and she’d be able to seat us. This gal was the best, she took our drinks order (while we waited for a table), brought me napkins to mop off my sweaty self (I love her for that alone), and got us seated as soon as a table came available. Her sense of humor and friendliness made us enjoy the food more, if that’s even possible. And the food…the wings were amazing. We had mango-habenaro wings and garlic Parmesan wings, the BLT and let me tell you about the Guinness Tots! Crunchy tater tots with everything you’d find in a Shepherd’s pie (except the mashed potatoes) on top. They were the best thing we had eaten in a long time! We will definitely be back the next time we come to Ybor City.

I ordered the chicken wings and waffle for lunch and it was really good. I was helped by Sona the bartender. He was really prompt, funny and very attentive. I will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

Decided to go here for an After Fringe gathering. Although I didn't have anything to eat, friends did, and it all looked and smelt good. The hot wings were a generous size and smelt VERY hot. The Guiness Tots were unique in that they had Shepards Pie on top of them. of a potato overload for me. The establishment has entertainment or activities through the week. This night was a unique bingo. Instead of calling numbers, songs would be played, and titles marked off on cards. As I understand they also have live entertainment at times. Although I didn't have anything to eat, I did have several pints. I was a bit concerned had seen several older reviews mentioning dirty glasses. This was not a problem for me however. A little concerning was the neon sign concerning drug use in restrooms. Not quite sure why any establishment would have such a sign. All in all, I would go back and try their food in the future.

Been there before but never checked out menu. My husband was craving chicken and waffles and google led me back. I’m glad we came back. Excellent food service
