Bidra med feedbackThe food here is amazing. I love tacos are super good almost amazing
Taco bus is always a must! Loved the vegan options. Been before being vegan and really enjoyed it as well.
During the night I was hungry for a snack and saw a brightly coloured bus that was a Mexican restaurant. Being curious and just wanting some simple food I went inside and ordered a beef burrito. I thought it tasted good, was very reasonably priced and staff were friendly. The Taco Bus is a good place for a quick bite while partying in downtown Tampa. Don’t expect it to be a fine dining cuisine in pristine condition as lots of people come into the restaurant impaired. This makes it hard for staff to keep the place as clean as they probably want to. I did feel safe inside and staff made efforts to clear and wipe the tables and control people who entered the restaurant. If you like my reviews, photos or videos then stop by the Taco bus, like it and transfer over to another adventure.
As much as I love a GOOD hole in the wall, Taco Bus barely passes the test. The ladies in the restaurant are very sweet and hard working, but sometimes it looks as if they need some help. They are regularly out of ingredients when I have gone and the place could use a good degreasing. The menu options are tasty, but a bit overly greasy and messy and lacking flavor. I have tried both the Vegan and Carnivore options and enjoy both. The empanadas were my favorite, highly recommend giving them a try.
The food was okay. The 2 female employees took a while to come to the front to take customers orders. Their was 2 before me. Ordered my food. The female cooking the food forgot my son's food. So he had to wait. I had theses huge taco shells with hardly no meat or toppings. Their was no AC on it was so hot that the ceiling was sweating on us. All the drinks were just sitting outside the cooler warm. Both employees kept running to the back and not paying attention to what was going on in the front. It was our first time here we thought it would be cool to try hence theirs a half of school bus outside which my toddler loves. Flavor wise it was okay not worth the $50 we spent. Definitely would reconsider getting better plates as well because my husband had the chimchanga and between the cheese sauce and hot sauce he had to pick the paper off his food.
