Thai Prime Kitchen & Bar - Tampa

On Saturday nights, Ron Carmichael was exceptional. The seating arrangement by the bathroom wall with a swinging door was unexpected and thrilling. It added an element of fun as we tried to dodge the door swinging at us. The food at the restaurant was delicious as well.

I noticed that there were not enough servers working at the restaurant. The food was okay, but not the greatest Asian or Thai cuisine. Overall, it was just average. There are better dining options in the area that you should consider trying instead.

The "lobster overload" was an amazing dish that came with a whole lobster tail, 2 large gulf shrimp, 2 scallops, and a generous portion of sautéed calamari. The basil broth it came in was also delicious. I asked for it to be spicy, but next time I'll go for Thai spicy... it wasn't too spicy, but they also gave me different hot sauces and dried chili flakes. We returned 2 days later and loved everything we ordered just as much. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thank you.

Valet parking was non existent. No live music like on all other Saturday nights we had been there. Did not care for the menu change. Two of the items we go there for were no longer on the menu. What is with the black paper towels in place of real napkins?

Food was delicious, restaraunt ambiance is a bit puzzling.. the layout is not conducive to any privacy.
