Bidra med feedbackI was not intending to visit the pub, but was simply returning home with my car that had been in the garage. They had not closed the bonnet properly, so I pulled into the car park to fix it. The pub was closed, and a woman who I assume is the landlady came out and reprimanded me for being on private property. I turned my car around and rolled down the window to explain my actions, but she accused me of being rude, even though I had not spoken a word. Perhaps she was under the influence of drugs or something.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and was blown away by the incredible burgers. They were homemade and generously sized. While the menu offers other options, I highly recommend visiting on Tuesdays for half-price burger night. I will definitely be returning, and I'm considering trying the Sunday Roast next time.
There aren't many lagers on tap to choose from, but the service was excellent and the food was amazing. The prices are very affordable and the portions are quite generous. I will definitely be returning here in the future.
Whilst the overall impression is slightly run down, the service is welcoming, the range of drinks is perfectly adequate and the food is pub-typical. In fact it is a normal country pub. These places need your visit as they are disappearing all too quickly.
Catherine and her team hosted a fantastic Christmas Party for our firm of 45 people. They produced a delicious 3 course meal, including vegan and gluten free options. The pub was beautifully decorated and the staff lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and the feedback from everyone was that it was the best venue we had every held an event at.
