Village Cafe - Tandridge

I am disgusted to report i witnessed a member of the staff acting totally inappropriately in the Corals Bookmakers next door to the restaurant earlier today, he acted aggressively violently shaking one of the virtual gaming machines. to top it off he then SPAT...on the machine, utterly disgusting! and if thats how he treats a machine, i wouldnt like to imaging what he does to the food in the restaurant. I certainly wont be visiting Village Grill Kebab, and i will urge others to do the same! Disgusting behaviour!

I've been here several times, good coffee and very good food and until my last visit the service has also been very good . However sadly on my last visit , i had arranged to meet three friends for a catch up over a meal..., i was half an hour early and asked for a coffee whilst waiting . The guy cooking and serving was most unhelpful he obviously thought i was only having a coffee to which he wasn't prepared to do not sure why as they weren't even busy) I therefore left and rang my friends that had almost arrived to arrange meeting elsewhere. Based on this experience i should be leaving a really bad review but that would be unfair as on all my other visits ,food and service was always good . So what i shall be doing instead is not ever using this place again..

Love this cafe Family friendly and you can sit outside with dog. Great food big portions. Delivery only for kebab in afternoon/evening.

Late. Cold. Tiny portions. Phone to complain, guy couldn’t have cared less. Worst grill order I’ve ever placed. Take a look at the pics and decide for yourself. Photo chicken kebab. Shall we play ‘spot the chicken’? Photo chicken burger. The...bread was twice the size of The chicken Photo kebab. Elsewhere I’d expect to pay for what we received TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Have had the chicken and lamb shish multiple times since the beginning of lockdown. Lovely food, I won’t go anywhere else for a kebab, highly recommend!
