Tony's On The Mountain - Tannersville

I just ordered delivery and waited over an hour. When the pizzas finally arrived, I brought them to our room and opened them up. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing first experience with Tony's. Picking them up would have been much easier, but for some reason, that wasn't an option today.

Delicious fresh pizza here! Everything was prepared perfectly, and the staff were very friendly. You can also pay with a card. My friend tried the machine and ended up winning too!

Then, the staff member I suspected of being in charge informed us that our order was for takeout instead of dining in. I was confused. When the pizzas finally arrived, they were completely cold, and they had forgotten the wings. When I pointed out that the wings were missing, I discovered they were also cold, as if they had been sitting out the entire time. Both the pizzas and the wings tasted terrible. To make matters worse, my niece asked for a bottle of water, which I planned to pay for at the register. The cashier responded with a poor attitude, as if he was too busy to assist us. We never received an apology for the long wait or for the cold food. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is not worth your time or money—avoid it if you can!

Place says it is open until 11. Do we not accept orders for pick-up or delivery on Saturday night after 930? It won't even go to the phone. Then try to connect you to 3rd party app, and the earliest delivery time is 11 a.m. on Sunday? Please don't apply for companies like that. Go somewhere else.

Tony's has been an East Stroudsburg mainstay for nearly all of eternity. They expanded and opened this location and unfortunately had a fire that caused the other location to temporarily close. I would normally get my pizza from the other location but I was compelled to come up here and grab a pie since I was missing the other spot so much. The pizza here is thin, it's crisp, and its fantastic. The sauce has a natural sweetness with a little bit of tart and a nice garlic and basil flavor to it. The cost is right in line with any other pizza in the area and it smokes most of them handily. Can't wait for the other location to reopen this spring!
