This is a historic bar of the city for which I will spend more than a few words because it has a huge potential, not only for the excellent location in the center, with the possibility to sit even outside in a pretty corner covered by ombelloni and beautiful hedges but for the unquestionable quality and goodness of the proposed products. Breakfast with the brioches and croissants of the palm of gold reconciles you with the universe. the pastry, self-produced is of a good that you can not explain, you have to go and try it, without hesitation and I swear that the gotative experience will repay. but every sparkly medal has its own but small defect...the staff! Except the owner at the cash register that all in all carries out his activity with friendliness, the same can not be said of the other operators. they are always in affanno even if perhaps at that moment there are only 3 people to serve, they try again among themselves in front of the clientele, they are always constituted and poorly arranged, so that at times, if for example they did not give us the glass of water with coffee, because taken from who knows what race, we do not ask it for fear to receive unsettled answers or, like the last time, a cup of coffee waited for more than 10 minutes. In fact, it has happened several times that I have proposed to go equally there to have breakfast, ignoring the usual unreserved service in favor of the excellent pasta and those who accompanied me refused because he felt insurmountable the problem of the service that is at the counter or at the table. It is a great regret that a bar so beautiful and undisputably good, is supported by people so rude and inhospitable. to quote another event, one morning we were in two and behind the counter there was the usual riot tumult, since there was not yet so many people, we had to ask for 3 times a brioche because the 4 operators, were all 4 concentrated on the arrival of a lady, probably a fixed client of which already knew the goats, and even before it arrived, they were even starting to predispose everything (repenet) It seemed so surreal that since that day we have not returned as much as I love, I repeat, their pastry.
