If you are a tourist looking for homemade and authentic cuisine, avoid it, this is not what you are looking for. I'm sorry but no, the reviews in which they speak well of it are nice, I'm sorry but I couldn't find anything of what you said and described. The reality is that you have good prices, helpful and kind staff, more than abundant dishes but terrible quality, bad organization and a nice place but the entrance and kitchen need to be reviewed. Our experience. We sat down and ordered immediately. I wanted an orecchiette with turnips, but I was told that they weren't available because they weren't in season (obviously they were on the menu). It was kindly suggested to me to replace the turnips with broccoli. Our order was 1 orecchiette with broccoli and a spaghetti with clams, followed by an octopus salad and a grilled vegetable (which unfortunately had not been grilled but cooked in the oven). We waited 40 minutes to receive the first courses, which was the right wait if the place had been full when we arrived, it's a shame that they only set a table for 1 for us. After our order, 4 other tables were seated, who obviously ordered after us, and were served before us. Okay, maybe they ordered some ready-made appetizers and we ordered some first courses which require more time. At the time of payment we found ourselves faced with this scene: some broccoli taken out of the freezer, the staff talking to themselves saying that they had already thawed 3 bags of it. There we understood why there was too much waiting. In practice, at the time of the order they defrost what they need for the order, which may also be fine for me to avoid waste, but if you use frozen products, why did you tell me that turnips are not in season? Furthermore, the broccoli used was clearly old and hard, the outermost tops whitish, a sign of oldness. I only took the time to write this review to help improve the place. I could have just left a negative review, but I didn't feel like doing so, I believe in the great potential of the place, and I hope that this review can help improve! I apologize for the bluntness but I hope it is read as a constructive note

Very very nice! Great honest food. Forget about pizza. Have them make you some antipasti and you’re set. Very nice people too!

The food was so good, I wiped off all the sauce and even got a second ration. But what made us go into this establishment in the first place were the funny and nice ppl there. Even after one of the ppl I was eating with wanted to get some pepper and chilli sauce they were always happy and joking around which was a rly nice atmosphere, the food did take a good amount of time since it had to be done but it was rly worth it. I definitely recommend this place 10/10!
