Balneario Beach Club Tarifa

Estuvimos tomando unas copas en la terraza, tiene unas vistas preciosas y el trato de los camareros muy correcto, pero ojo cuidado con los precios, las copas normales son muy caras, tomamos dos abrígala con cola 18€.

We called in for a couple of bottles of sparkling water and were served by a very surly unsmiling young man. We paid 5 euro for the drinks and did not have any coins to leave a small tip, which would have only been 50 cents anyway, which is 10%. The average disinterested service did not warrant more. We therefore decided to leave and the guy serving us came flying out of the door after us shouting verbal abuse at us in Spanish. I speak Spanish as he was aware, so understood everything he said. I was horrified that not leaving a 50 cent tip would send him into such a rage. Chasing after and shouting abuse at customers is totally unacceptable. A tip is for good service, which may be his employers should remind him of. He is in desperate need of a the customer first and how to smile course. He certainly should not be in a customer facing position. He is a liability for this restaurant’s reputation and business. A nasty and unpleasant experience at the hands of an ignorant and uneducated oaf.

Situated with nice beach view gives 4he restaurant potential, but it stops there. We were very rudely met by the waitress with brown haired pony tail. She stared aggressivly at me (I'm a male) when I said Hola and started to order in English. I changed to stumbling Spanish and placed the order for me and my wife. She went away with an angry look. Our ordered food arrived very quickly and it was pretty ok, but the male waiter (moustache dressed) did not bother to talk to us at all. After having eat I payed directly in the bar and finally I had a pleasant contact with the female barman.

El personal es excelente y muy amable. Celebramos la Navidad con una comida deliciosa y sencilla. ¡Muy buena! Venimos de Barcelona y no sabemos cuándo volveremos, pero si podemos, sin duda regresaremos. Las vistas son magníficas.

There is nothing to improve (a little less wind perhaps. everything was perfect: music, sight, food, friendly treatment and the immense sea to the front. Repeat, don't change the concept. ah! those coast croquettes and the expected rabo bull!
