H'ours Creole Smokehouse

Went here on a Saturday night last weekend. What a great cajun place the food was delicious and the old fashions were great. I will definitely go back again.

Absolutely amazing! food was amazing! and the people are very friendly! The music they play certain days is great! and the place is very aesthetic! I ordered tacos and ribs and they were the best tacos and ribs I have ever ate in my life! I'm definitely coming back again?

One of our favorite places to go in Tarpon springs. You always get a really friendly wait staff. The food is delicious.You definitely need to make a reservation if you're going on the weekends.I Find this place to be a little loud. There's usually a band outside on the weekends and they do pipe the music inside. But even when there's not a band, the inside is just loud. It doesn't keep us from going but it definitely is one of the cons for me.It is a fab find and they do awesome takeout as well.

It’s a great place to go, they usually have a band out front outside dining. The inside didn’t have any air conditioning the night we were there, or if they did, it sure wasn’t working. It was 92 at 8pm. Our server either had too many tables or was interested in another table more than ours. I’m from Louisiana so Gumbo is everyone’s own interpretation. But our waiter assured us the check was from New Orleans. Well, it’s a gumbo, and it’s O K. Yup, that’s it. If you’re from somewhere else, and don’t know what gumbo is… you’ll be fine especially if you LOVE SALT. The bbq shrimp and grits are done perfectly for shrimp, but the flavor didn’t compliment the flavorless (instant? grits. We tried the bread CINNAMON bread pudding, and if you LOVE cinnamon you’re in luck because the must put a box in there. The typical bourbon sauce didn’t do it for me either. I will say the best deal in the house is their 3 whiskey flight for $25… it’s a winner. We will go back, but it’ll be for the atmosphere and burgers. Also take note, the noise level is medium high.

Had a HORRIBLE experience here tonight. Disappointing would be understatement. Waited over an hour for our food and when it was still not at the table asked the waitress (actually had to find another waiter to find her) to just go ahead and cancel it as we had plans we had to go to. She showed up 5 minutes later and said the food was ready now. I said no thank you we really do have plans we have to get to now. Please bring the check. As we have now been at the table for over and hour and have had 1 beer and 1 wine and the stale bread they brought to the table. She comes back with my wine I ordered almost 30 minutes ago and I said AGAIN no we really need the check to leave. She then walks inside for ANOTHER at least 5 minutes and comes out takes another tables order, goes back in to place it, and comes back and says it 'll be another minute for the manager to take it off the bill. The same waiter I flagged to find her earlier comes back to the table and asks what 's up, because we are just about to walk out and I feel it was clear on our faces, and when I say I just need my bill to him magically it shows up. So I can leave un-fed over an hour and half in to this dinner . Finally got our $16 bill (for only 2 drinks that were subpar) and left. Would have LOVED to speak to the manager who comped our meal we didn 't eat. What a shame to charge so much for entrees and drinks and not deliver on service from the basic wait staff all the way up to management. Will never try here again and will highly discourage anyone I care about from going too.
