Bidra med feedbackAwesome seafood at the end of the sponge docks. The place is busy so there is a wait, however you can go online and put your name on the wait list to save time. They had a nice tent area with chairs for waiting. We had snow crab legs that were very good and fresh. The ribeye steak was really juicy and cooked perfectly. The fried Brussels sprouts were very tasty also. The view from the upstairs outside seating area was nice to watch the boats and water while eating.
This was our first time actually getting in because this place stays so busy!. We were seated quickly. Our server was fast and friendly. When our food arrived we were shocked because it was so much! The food was very appetizing and hot. Everything was well seasoned. We had blackened shrimp with a baked potatoe and green beans, and fish and chips. This restaurant did not disappoint. We certainly will be coming back to try more tasty dishes.
Food was good, generous portions, fair prices and great view. Staff gets very busy and service was slow but overall a good experience. Great thing about here is there is a fish market next door where you can buy a fresh fish and bring it over to the restaurant that they will fry for you for $10! Signature drinks and plenty of cocktails to choose from. Gets busy during dinner but has indoor and outdoor dining with a patio bar. Fun place to enjoy a meal and the sunset. Yummy corn fritters free to munch on while you wait for your food.
Rusty Bellies has great food and the service was fantastic. We came to lunch on Thursday, and when I called to see if they had Ipswich whole belly mussels, you could say they were busy, so I reserved 2:00. We arrived 15 minutes early and our table was waiting for us. Our waitress Jasmine was excellent. She brought us our drinks and was constantly refilled if necessary. Every time she came by, she asked us if we needed something. Jasmine, you get 10 of us. For the food it was delicious, we had the fish and chips and whole belly fried Clams and Jambalaya and Gumbo Soup. It reminded us of the return home in New England. Not too many places in Florida sell whole belly shells just strips. You even have a place to park. We had a great experience from check-in to the moment we were gone. See you soon
Always a good bet to drive to Rusty Bellies in Tarpon Springs for seafood! Your menu gets quite consistent updates, so also as a local and a somewhat more regular to explore new dishes. We visited on a Tuesday night at 9 p.m. how the live music played. We sat on the very pleasant outdoor deck. Pleasant as its August and an inferno in Florida, they had some strong wind moving fans out there and it felt like case. We sat right away and brought out their signature hush puppies hot. Our server was pleasant, friendly and helpful. We ordered some of the newer dishes and were not disappointed. We're coming back!
