Tarpon Tavern - Tarpon Springs

We had a fantastic evening celebrating my daughter's birthday. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The food exceeded our expectations. Although the venue isn't the most attractive, it is clean and well-maintained, giving off a dive bar atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with staff displaying a traditional approach to customer care. The location is ideal, situated in the historic district of Tarpon Springs and next to a restaurant that features live music on weekends. The craft beer selection is quite broad, but it tends to stick to well-known and mainstream options within popular styles, which feels a bit conservative. As a craft beer enthusiast who has visited many breweries across the country, I found the selection somewhat lacking. Nevertheless, the highlight of our visit was the excellent food. We regret having waited so long to try this place since moving here a few months ago, and we will definitely be back.

I had lunch there today, and it looked like a great spot to eat. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a lovely outdoor patio for dining. I ordered a couple of sandwiches, and the food was tasty and served promptly. However, I’m giving it three stars because the staff appeared quite indifferent to us and other customers. We had to ask for everything, and it seemed like the staff was more focused on themselves than on meeting our needs. The place wasn't busy at all, so I expected better service.
