RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen - Tarrytown

The ambiance at this restaurant is absolutely stunning. It almost feels like dining in a charming old mansion. My partner and I had a wonderful dinner and loved our meals. He even said the calzone was better than some of our favorite Italian restaurants in NYC. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

This was my first time at the restaurant. I would give it 3 or 4 stars. The atmosphere inside was nice, but I chose to sit outside. I ordered the burger with bacon and aged cheddar, and I liked the crispy fries. I requested no salt and the presentation was good. The burger itself was average, as I didn't use much ketchup or sauce so I didn't get a strong flavor.

This restaurant is worth the price. While you may have to wait a bit for your food, it is definitely worth it. The homemade pasta is amazing, and don't miss out on the great dessert and lobster soup. The staff is friendly and the view by the water is lovely. Additionally, there is a market section where you can purchase baked goods and other food items when you first walk in.

Great atmosphere and spacious seating. We enjoyed the arugula pizza, local cheese platter and especially green Garden Herb pasta! Try the espresso martini too!

Have been coming to this gem for a few years now. Great food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere. Have never had anything less than a great experience. Many thanks for helping us celebrate a milestone for our daughter. Thank you Glenn for alwaysmaking us feel appreciated and loved. All I will say is see passed the “entitled, frugal, inexperienced patron” bad reviewsand you will not be disappointed. Trust me when I say the staff care and it is a testament to the owner, his son and theirteam. The bad reviews are not reflective of anything we have ever experienced at all. Prices are very reasonable in this market.If you want cheap, fast, mediocre food go elsewhere. If you want great tasting food in a fun, warm and inviting environment then stop by.
