This is a great bar for food and drinks good atmosphere and fantastic decor. Really nice cocktails

We all had Sunday lunch, which was delicious. Very generous portions and wonderfully pink roast beef. The staff were careful to check that we were all happy with rare beef when we ordered it and kindly served some slightly more well done for one of our party. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The atmosphere was fab, the place was full even though it was mid Jan, and the food, wow!! We had the mushrooms on crumpets with truffle butter to start then one of our party had the lamb which which looked divine with creamy mashed potato, my husband and I had the steak, which was so soft succulent you could cut it with a butter knife. The portions were just right and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were nice and friendly too. We will be back

The menu was fairly small but very varied and all extremely well done. The food was interesting, well presented and extremely tasty.... compliments to the Chef! Sadly, the Bank is not local to our home. Many thanks to all who contributed to our wonderful meal, the best I have had for ages.

An amazing find in Taunton. Friendly staff. Great wines. Great service. Tasty food. You don’t need to be central for a good meal. Go off the beaten track and you will find The Bank. You will not be disappointed
