Bayside Bistro - Tavernier

With most reviews, this is a five-star restaurant. It looks like they had a problem with some bad reviews in December, but our experience was totally five stars. Our server Renee could not be more helpful and personal. Our order came fast and was great. The pizza, if not the best is one of the top pizzas in the whole Florida Keys. We stay on a campsite in Marathon and the Bayside Bistro is famous and visited by many. I will return soon and recommend this restaurant.

This place has thw best pizza I've had in South Florida. The sauce tastes fresh and home made. They use great cheese and they understand how to make a good crust. They also have a nice beer selection. It's a small locale but there is outdoor seating as well as an indoor dining area. If you ear outside be mindful of the mosquito seasons and heat in the summer. All in all a great place.

Had a great lunch there today, even though they were super busy and the waitress looked like she was doing it all. We had two pieces of cheese pizza, a child's ravioli and a buffalo chicken wrap with chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Reasonable prices and nice service. Will come back again.

This is my first time eating here but it won't be my last. When we are down in the Keys we prefer to eat out by the water. However, after eating lunch here we will be back to enjoy a nice meal. My daughter had a small pizza with shrooms, I had a BLT wrap and it was fresh and loaded with bacon!! Love it when they don't skimp on the bacon. Her boyfriend had the supreme steak sandwich. My only complaint is that at $10.00 for a sandwich the steak sandwich should come.with fries. They are about $2.00 more. I had the side of fruit with my BLT wrap and it was just a few red grapes, some pineapple and some melon. The fries were really crispy and yummy. All in all a pretty good lunch.

I believe the pizza is fantastic, possibly even better than when the previous owners were running things. We really enjoyed our visit; the restaurant is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Renee, our server, was delightful. She greeted us as soon as we were seated and provided us with quick and efficient service, managing everything on her own without any issues. The cheese on the pizza was likely some of the best I've had in a long time. Looking forward to coming back soon!
