Angelos Pizza - Taylorville

Casey M, our server, was amazing! She provided excellent service and made our kids feel truly special. As always, the food was fantastic! Whenever we return to Taylorville, we always make it a point to visit Angelo's for their delicious spaghetti and cheese bread.

Our server was outstanding—extremely attentive and efficient, providing quality service. The food was good overall. The pizza was tasty, but not up to the usual exceptional standard. The toppings on the Special were unevenly distributed; the mushrooms were concentrated in the middle, while the onions and peppers were thick on one side and sparse on the other, and there was very little meat throughout the pizza. The pasta was enjoyable, and the salad, enhanced with cheese and drizzled with sweet and sour dressing, was delicious!

Delicious food and excellent service! However, there was one minor issue that affected our waitress's tip. When a mandatory gratuity is added to the bill without clear communication—especially when it’s printed in tiny font on a menu—it really negatively impacts the tip for the server. I was in a large group and was paying separately, and I believe our waitress could have earned significantly more if that policy hadn’t been in place.

Spaghetti and meatballs were very good.. however the chicken Alfredo was not. The chicken tasted canned. I didn't eat it and the waitress did not offer a refund. When we paid, I told them what happened and we did end up getting a refund. Overall, ok.
