Shelly Belle’s - Tazewell

This place is packed for a good reason!! The food is awesome and the portions are exceedingly more than expected. The staff are excellent, and the kayaking is very nice. We have lots of fun here. Our church comes every year it’s a lot of fun for the kids and adults, everyone always has a great time. The pork nachos are my favorite

This is a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant! If you are counting calories, this is not the place for you! Beautiful back porch area that can hold several large tables. Google maps will try to take you up the steep hill. Just stay to the left and follow the water to get there.

Awesome place to eat food is delicious service is Great. The only thing I didn't like was charging you to use your c ard had cash was not made awear until I looked at my recipe later I don't know of a restaurant that does that. Anyway will be back would have rated a 5 if it were not for that. Atmosphere was awesome on the back deck overlooking the water. THANKS

Shelly Bells is situated on the river bridge heading towards Tazewell. I recall the pleasant journey, which isn’t far, and as I passed the kayaking and rental place, I noticed signs leading to a scenic spot by the river adorned with tall birch trees and a charming wooden house that exuded a welcoming vibe. Upon arrival, I was greeted with smiles and had the option to sit at various tables, either in the dining area or outside on the veranda. Alternatively, I could have chosen to relax in their spacious bar area, watching TV while enjoying a meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it difficult to leave. The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. I truly had one of the best meals of my life here! I highly recommend this lovely spot by the river.
